Star Wars star Daisy Ridley
So I have never seen Star Wars until my friend and I just recently went to see the new one that just came out, and lets say I'm definitely in a Star Wars marathon mood. I loved it! And I also loved the new star Daisy Ridley....her style as much as her. I was stunned by her exquisite taste throughout her events and debuts. So, I picked out a few that I was just absolutely infatuated with!

In Giambattista Valli

Kanye West x Adidas SS16
There has been major talk on the upcoming designer Kanye West. He is obviously a street wear designer, so there is no high-fashion to be found here. It was rather interesting seeing the colour of the cream on cream or grey on grey. A quote from him explains how I think of it... "Everyone always wears leggings or sweaters now, and I wanted to make that as beautiful as possible." And that is exactly what is presentation was, basic pieces of clothing. I enjoyed the shoes if anything. I believe Kanye has a brilliant creative mind that he does not really put into action, and I can't wait until he actually puts it to use. And no, I will not be voting for Kanye for President in 2020.

I am dying to know what you guys think! Comment on my home page!!

Blake Lively's effortless week of 60 Beautiful Outfits
Okay, so if you're a girl you have to be obsessing over Blake Lively. From her role of Gossip Girl, to her sexy boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, and her brilliant style, she is always killin in some type of way. She is every girls role model! Mostly because of her sense of fashion, of course. I just couldn't help but repost some of the pictures off of elle.com of her beautiful outfits. Seeing a woman pull off so many different styles is just so great to see. Perhaps one day I'll be able to wear those items of clothing! For more pictures visit Elle!

Designers of Marc Jacobs starts a new label
For those of you who are in lalal LOVE with Marc Jacobs collection, you'll probably wanna follow this! The designers of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley, are launching a line of their own. Their new luxury line is going to be called "Hillier Bartley." I'm quite excited! Instead of having to stay in the lines of Marc Jacobs work and looks, they get to create a few looks of their own! Out of the comfort zone of Marc Jacobs, of course. They will be launching the collection starting  Fall 2015. They stated on elle.com that it's going to more of a 'masculine elegance'.

Chanel Fall/Winter 2015
This show and venue blew me away, I almost fainted when I viewed the whole show. I loved the whole concept of it, and how the models interacted with each other at the bar or tables after they were done walking. This was truly a work of art. The amount of time individuals must have sacrificed in order to make this show one-of-a-kind. The skirts with slacks under them were just brilliant. The signature coats never fail to impress. Comment and let me know which look was your favorite!

You're not the only one...

Because so many embarrassing things has happened to me this week....well more than usual, I decided to make myself feel a little better. This might sound evil, but it was for good intentions I promise. Watching models on the runway, modeling for billion dollar companies, accidently fall or trip was more reassuring than I thought. Even big named supermodels like Karlie Kloss has a little mistake here and there. So nobody is perfect! Even if we think they are.

Check out these hilarious videos at: http://www.elle.com/fashion/news/g25694/14-designers-to-watch-fall-2015/?

Couture Week 2015
Couture week reminds me of why I'm infatuated with fashion. The shapes & silhouettes of dress, skirts, blouses and even coats are brilliant. The couture makeup, big wedding dresses (Chanel) is all just so beautiful. Couture is high fashion at it's finest.

Christian Dior
The boots are to die for with the baby doll dress and the signature yellow color. I loved everything about this collection. Always one of my favorites!

Chanel
In every collection you will, there will always be the signature wool look of the blazers, skirts, and coats with texture. I love it. The flowers embedded into the dresses is brilliant.

Giambattista Valli
The gowns are what make this brand. Brilliant directors, every year, come up with spectacular designs and it blows my mind every season.

Stephane Roland
A lot people don't know much about this designer, but you should know that she is amazing. Her designs are up in the top 10. Someone to look out for!

Ralph and Russo
I rarely see designs from them, but they did a beautiful job! The gowns perfection don't you think?

Spring/Summer 2015
My favorite part about Spring/Summer is the colors, and the venue for the fashion shows. Some are held in a green house, garden, and outside by a beautiful water fountain in Milan. They're always so intriguing to watch.

Many designers have put on a brilliant show (whats new?)! A lot of fun ones like Moschinos' Barbie World, Burberrys' live concert and soft colors, and then there was Fendi's runway with crazy clothing & music. Can't get any better! I love seeing the new season colors, and the way the models rock. Below are some of my favorite shows and why I love them!

Moschino
Who doesn't love Barbie?? The way they made the outfits into their own designs was beautiful. The models made it so much fun!

Fendi
I love Fendi because of the textures and patterns they use together. The blue floral print is perfect.
Christian Dior
What is not to like about this collection? The venue is classy, and the pop of colors are to die for. Black and white with a pop of color....always in.
Chanel
I The designs, colors and patterns are brilliant. I love the floral and the way they blended it with the classic look. They always incorporate their signature styles.
Burberry
The soft colors in their collection is to die for. Such a beautiful show.

Cruise Line Fav
As a model and blogger, I can't just pay attention to one detail. I look at the clothing, and then how the model walks, her face and posture. This show, to this day, is my favorite over all. The models were brilliant and the designers are perfect. Even the way the venue is set up! I can watch this show over and over. I love the music, it corresponds beautifully with the walk and the clothing. Plus, I adore Christian Dior!

As seen in Vogue

November 18, 2014

I've been working on a research paper one of my college classes and its about...ya know....fashion. I checked out this really cute book and it talks about how Vogue was started, it's pretty cool.

Vogue was invented by a bunch of wealthy socialites, not designers. It was backed by some of the most wealthiest families in the 1880's. The editor, Josephine Redding who also came up with the word Vogue, was actually interested in animal welfare. She was also  a socialite. Vogue contained images, advice, inside scoops, and designers tell all from the social world. All women looked up to the wealthy socialites, everyone wanted to be them. The first issue of Vogue was published on December 17, 1892. It was a great way for women who didn't make as much income, but can still be fashionably dressed.
I wish the women today were like the women back then, always wanting to be fashionably dressed.

Oscar de La Renta dies at 82

October 20, 2014

Oscar's wife, Annette, told the press that he died of cancer complications. No one had a clue that he was diagnosed with cancer, so he did a pretty great job at hiding it. His American fashion house is a legend, and will be continued by Peter. Oscars designs worn by several of celebrities just shows how brilliant of a man he was. Like I said before, it's every girls dream to be wearing one of his designs. During his complications with cancer, his empire grew 50% and sales rose to  $150 million. Nothing was stopping him at this point. Rest In Peace.

New creative director of Oscar de la Renta

October 13, 2014

Peter Copping, the creative director of Nina Ricci, is now the creative director of Oscar de la Renta! He has a brilliant and classy taste so it should come to no harm for this billion dollar empire. Oscar da le Renta is known for the beautiful gowns and wedding dresses you see on celebrities on the Red Carpet and at million dollar weddings. It's every girls dream to be wearing one of their designs at least once in their life time. Peter has a very unique style and it fits right in to the criteria of Oscar. You can also see his creations from the Nina Ricci SS15 collection at elle.com . I can't wait to see his designs for Oscar de le Renta!!
