Gioffre
Many of you might not know, but I just recently started interning for Gioffre, the high-end Italian boutique located in downtown Clearwater as well as Switzerland and Milan. I absolutely love it. The fashion is unique, hand-made and so cute. They carry gowns for events, business casual clothing, and cute every day pieces. And just recently I helped Erika (the manager), and Irena (the assistant) coordinate a show, "Fairest of them All." I also modeled in it, sick as a dog, but I just could not miss this amazing event. It featured all of the beautiful gowns and new designs. It was at Villa Bellini, the best authentic Italian Restaurant in Clearwater. They provided us delicious food, wine, and a set up for the runway. Such a cool scene to be apart of!

1954
This was my first event I attended that wasn't about fashion. It was definitely an experience to remember! Even though producers & actors aren't in my areas of knowledge, I still had a blast. It was incredible to be apart of a different industry for a night, and to see what kind of talent they present. When watching this movie (1954) and a few others, I had to remind myself that this movie was produced locally and by local people. And the fact that this movie made it into 3 movie festivals made it even harder!

With the leading actor Jeff Brown

Pictured above, you'll see most of the crew from the thriller 1954. It's a short film; a very well-done short film. I had the honor of being escorted by the lead actor, Jeff Brown. He did such an amazing job! He has always mentioned his acting career on the side, but I finally got to see it in action. And a little spoiler alert, he's in the middle of producing a huge film that will be out in 2 years. The leading lady who played his girlfriend, Kristen Wollett, was such a doll! She looked amazing in her little black dress, even when pregnant! I also had the pleasure of talking with the hilarious individual, Derek Roberts. He is by far the funniest man I have ever met, there was never a moment of silence when conversing with him. Hopefully I'll run into this talented & funny individual in the near future!

I was so thankful for the invitation. I mean, even though trying to find parking in Channel Side on a Saturday night wasn't so fun, I didn't let it put a damper on my night! I'm always supporting local designers, boutiques etc., but now it's time to expand my interest! If you want to catch any short films produced around the area, most of them are playing at Channel Side Cinema. Other brilliant movies that played were: Odessa, Burnt Plant, and Sky Ship Part 1.

Sides of Christian Fashion Week

After the show, I had time to walk around and see the little stands a few shops had up. We have so many talented and motivated individuals in Tampa Bay area, it's very inspiring.

This owner was quite the character! When I first saw these I started freaking out, I thought she handcrafted these herself. But, when she travels she picks up souvenir's which happens to be amazingly cool clutches and wallets. She travels everywhere; from each different town she visits they all have different taste. All of them offered different types of designs and clutches, it's interesting to see how style changes.

I wore this outfit getting ready for the show, and all the models thought I was wearing one of the designers! I was flattered, it's just something I threw on! I wanted to also dress for after the show too. I'm obsessed with this scarf my mother got me for Christmas, she still has style! It's from Target, I go everywhere with this thing.

Fox 13 Segment

Wearing Lina Teixiera's new "Midnight" dress for the Holiday Fashion segment with Ivanka Ska and Sandra Hagen was such an honor!
I didn't want to take it off. The flowers were made out of earrings which is brilliant. The way the dress fits your silhouette and the perfect plunge is what makes it a perfect dress for a fancy party, red carpet type of night or even a quiet event! It is always a pleasure working with shoe designer Ivanka Ska and designer Sandra Hagen. They always have new & brilliant designs to introduce.

Gioffre is one of my favorite boutiques. The owner and her daughter are unforgettable, I picked up some Italian slang from listening to them converse. They're brilliant people and put on a great show, it was definitely one of more tense shows I have been in but I have learned a lot from them.

I had the pleasure of modeling with Miss Miami and America's Next Top Model season 6 contestant Molli Gaundi. They're worth getting to know. A lot of the women who attended the Gala showed up in thousand dollar dresses which made me envy them; they were gorgeous.

The hospitality of the hotel was 5 star, it was a fantastic experience. The food and wine was delicious. Very excited to be working with them once again!

October 9, 2014

I visited Gioffre Boutique in downtown Clearwater for a fitting for the upcoming charitable fashion show this coming October 23 and I absolutely ADORE this place. The clothing is brilliant, the environment makes you feel welcomed and the ladies running the place are perfection. I'm very excited for the show, and to continue shopping there.

I attended the annual 'Best of the Bay' Award show at the St. Pete coliseum and it was such an amazing experience. Getting to meet the best of the best Designers, Boutique owners, Chefs, Photographers,Editors etc was exhilarating. Seeing everyone apart of the community come together to support and recognize eachothers hard work and success is truly inspiring! I'd like to say Congrates to Lina Teixiera and the Dunedian Art Center for their awards! Hopefully I'll be thankful enough to receive the Best of the Bay Fashion Blogger award next year!

Being featured on 3 websites and being interviewed for a News Channel was one of my favorite highlights!

Lina Teixiera Studio Opening

Lina Teixieras' opening of Studio Six One Seven was such a blast! Getting to see all of her collections as well as her new Ready to Wear which was made out of recycling paper was a great experience. The beautiful gowns which fell perfectly on the models and very old-fashioned put me in awe. I had no idea she was designing this and the fact that everything is black & white adds more to the 1920's effect.

If you'd like to shop for her Wearable Art T-shirts they're located in her Studio along with her other collections in Downtown Clearwater.

Wearing Lina's Ready to Wear Collection models Bianca Persechino and Olsiny Perez.
